*Children's Bujinkan (Martial Arts)*
Ages 8-13, Wednesdays, 6pm-7pm.

"Taijutsu, literally translated as, "skill with the body," forms the basis for all understanding in the fighting arts of Ninjutsu. By concentrating on developing natural responsive actions with the body during intitial ninja training, one can then use the physical lessons as models for psychological and tactical training in advanced studies. The ninja's taijutsu is made up of methods for striking and grappling in unarmed fighting, tumbling and breaking falls, leaping and climbing, conditioning the body and maintaining health, as well as special ways of walking and running." -Masaaki Hatsumi
This class is instructed by Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu/Ninjutsu, Shidoshi (Instructor), 7th degree black belt, former Police Sergeant, Special Agent, American Ninja Warrior, and Million Dollar Mile Competitor, Timothy Minnick.
Your child will gain confidence, as well as balance, flexibility, and strength, while learning self defense and survival techniques in a safe and nonthreatening environment. There is no free sparing during our children's classes. We're here to help mold your children into positive and constructive citizens. Our Dojo's walls are painted with the below 7 Virtues of Bushido (Way of the Warrior) and like the Samurai, is a code we strive to live by at Shinobi Fitness. You can find this same list with detailed definitions, inside, near our door.
Our belt ranking system for our Children's Taijutsu, mirrors that of our Bujinkan Ninjutsu classes white, green (kyu), black (dan) belts, except the Children's belts contain a white stripe, showing them as Junior level, as well as an added brown belt level between green and black. Each belt color will contain kyu levels, which will be represented by a star worn on the Gi (uniform) top. Once the child becomes turns 14 they can begin to obtain official rank and solid belt colors in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu/Ninjutsu.
